Important Nutrients to be Fulfilled by Pregnant Women

Good meals for pregnant women are of course the most important to be noted. The first time you know that you are pregnant, first thing to do is to manage your food. Why? Because since you have your baby inside your tummy, the nutrient from what you eat will divide for two persons: you and your baby. So, start balance diet because since right now, you are sharing with your little baby!

Here are some nutrient should fulfill for the health of mom and  baby.

 

Calcium

Your baby needs high level of calcium. If calcium obtained from the diet is not enough, the needs of high in calcium will be taken from the mother’s bones. The effect will felt when getting older—threatened by bone loss. That’s why you are better consumes milk, yoghurt, tofu, almond, broccoli, cheese, and nuts or it can be obtained from suplements.

 

Folic Acid

This is important for the first three months of pregnancy. Folid Acid will influence to the forming of the baby’s brain and decrease the risk of being attacked by spina bifida. Spina bifida is a failure when establishing spinal on the baby. Find it on milk, avocado, wheat, nuts, strawberry, orange, and banana.

 

Iron

The additional iron for pregnant woman is 30 mg per day. Eat meat, salmon, egg, green vegetables and nuts. Iron is for the establishment of red blood cells and to maximize the function of the muscles. The deficiency of iron will resulted in a miscarriage or congenital defects.

 

Mineral

Enough mineral is to fulfill the needs of body fluids. You will lose your body fluids when because of metabolism process, especially when you’re pregnant. Mineral is the easiest substance to get, you can get it from only 8 glasses of water daily.

 

Calorie

Calorie is important for energy. The needs of calorie for pregnant women are increasing time by time until the baby is born. Lack of calorie will affect to lack energy when labor, and low weight of the baby.

 

Vitamins

Every types of vitamin are important. Get those from fresh vegetables and fruits regularly.
